A new delivery of unique designs and inventions that should be from Ikea and are not. We asked our friends at the Swedish multinational for a clone for some of these products, which stand out for their originality and/or functionality. Today it is about chairs and armchairs that can give a very different air to our room or living room.
I present you the Zero Gravity Chair for the most advanced design technology lovers, incredibly original and modern! It seems that its structure in suspension is safe and provides the back with an unbeatable rest.
Also, a kind of rocking chair, but with a mixture of avant-garde airs and polished wood’s sobriety, is the Ocean Rocker III model by Ode Chair.
Folding chair-hanger: to be stored in the wardrobe when the seat is not needed. Her name is Olivia, and she is worth no less than 120 pounds! It’s a bit of a joke, don’t you think?
A set of terrace chairs with a small table are stacked up to create a new avant-garde structure, something like a rocket column… Ikea, take note of these original solutions for small spaces!
A space problem solution for creative and elegant storage of four comfortable armchairs and a central table. Very useful, especially in houses with little space that receive guests or to have the terrace furniture collected in little space. If you want to see how it looks and how easy it is to assemble and disassemble, click here.
Another type of armchair with space-saving are those with storage modules included, such as the bookcase armchairs:
A first model, made of rigid plastic in acid colors and with curved shapes, can be used to store books and a blanket for the cat… This second model is a more serious design. It is called Bookinist. It is by Nils Holger Moormann. It has compartments to organize reading, a built-in lamp to not use more light than necessary at night, and an original front wheel to move it easily!
Something simpler in terms of shape and design is the Bookseat Chair, a unique chair for those who do not stop reading for a second. All the books are within easy reach without having to get up.
I love reading, and I never have enough room for all my books, I love this proposal. However, I think the top shelf would be used for CDs, shorter and all the same size, and so you can support your arms more comfortably, you can also cover them with a folded cloth to make them softer and avoid them to get a lot of dust. By Italian designers Nobody&co, the Bibliochaise is available in a lot of different colors and textures, both the wooden structure and the cushion, with a matt or glossy finish, and the best thing is that it stores up to five meters in books. Here you have it empty so that you can better appreciate its structure:
To finish the post, a funny image: provocative taboos!
